The Farmer

3 Comments | Posted February 15, 2010 by

My name is Michael Moore. I was raised in Michigan where I learned to love a good cold winter and a short warm summer. After traveling the world I returned to the Midwest, now to beautiful Fridley, Minnesota where I share a quarter acre and a 50′s rambler with my wife and kids.

I might have a website, but that doesn’t make me a professional. I have only been gardening in Minnesota for a couple of years, and in Utah a couple of years before that. Just because you see me do something on this blog doesn’t mean that it’s the right way to do it, it just means that I’m dumb enough to try it.

Gardening isn’t my only hobby or interest. I spend a ton of time behind a computer screen doing programming, I also do a tiny bit of wood working, I love camping, and I like to pull out the telescope from time to time. Everything you could want to know about my other hobbies canĀ  be found over at http://stuporglue.org.

Yeah. The kids, too. They have good ideas about things.
